Does anyone know for certain if a 09 Rocket 3 Touring seat will fit..

Does anyone know for certain if a 09 rocket 3 touring (hard saddle bags) seat will or will not fit the 07 classic tourer. The 09 has a 180 rear..mine has a 240.

Not without a lot of work. As you noted the rear tire is different sized, therefore the whole rear end of the bike is different. The bag mount frame bolts to the mufflers on the R3T, another problem.

An easier route would be Corbin.

thanks...that being the case there is a Sargent seat that is listed on ebay for the touring rocket...150 is the reserve price which is dirt cheap because they want 400 for their seat and that is with you sending them one so they can use your base plate.

almost any hardbags that are flat inside (like Triumph Rocket Touring Panniers) should fit on the Rocket Classic Classic/Roadster, but you'd need to drill and/or hardmount with rails or easy bracket?
