Understood, but that is just logistics and not applying to my premise of always challenge.
I do realize time is money, so weighing your costs in both money and CDR (certified driving record) ramifications are paramount.
Some coppers are richards, I've met plenty, but the proportion of the richards among coppers is likely the same as in the driving population.
Sorry you had to suffer through this bogus affront. Last year a similar sphincter muscle, badge heavy, POS in Idaho pinched me for speed in a van (towing motors home from Moab) for exceeding speed 10 mph while passing slow traffic. In Idaho tis an infraction to exceed speed limit while passing - period - even if it take a dangerous time and distance to pass.
Bone-ass stupid law & blatantly revenue grabbing! SHAME on Idaho!
 
It’s just a matter of time till I get a speeding ticket, again. I’ve not received one on a bike yet last time was in the car. State trooper asked me questions like, where are you going and where are you returning from? How was that germane to speeding. That particular fellow makes a living on that 20 mile stretch of road. I’m not a fan.
