D&d muifflers for sale on ebay

And by the way guys. I appreciate the input. Thanks for spotting them, Muleskinner!

Tors

Quite frankly, I would imagine being a factory Triumph part, the TORS would be good quality. I like the D&D's because that is what I have. But TORS most likely would have done me just fine.

Hello,

I have the TORS underneath and removed the original airfilter and placed triple K&N Filters to give the engine more air.
If you replace the original exhaust for TORS or D&D's you will need another tune.
You can find them and replace it by using TuneEcu.( free software)
I did a Dyno run to make sure that the engine is tuned to be perfect.
The TOR's or D&D's together with replacing the original airbox for the 3 K&N filters as well the different tune ( better to do a dyno run) will give you a total different Bike.
Much more power and much more torque again. ( ask yourself if you need it?)
Also less milage per Gallon because of the tune etc.

On this forum is load of information available about it.
Our German member and fellow Captain Hardy has a site and placed movies on You tube where you can read and see how to replace the airfilter etc.

Right on regarding the fuel mileage decrease when you start modifying. The ONE thing I did not research when I purchased my Rocket was fuel mileage. Now with the PCV and the A/T unit, if I keep the bike under 70MPH and ride it easy, I get about 40MPG tops. If I do any playing around, I get between the high 20's and the low 30'S. Definitely a consideration for the guy who rides in rural areas where it's a far piece between gas stations!

D&D exhausts

I have a set just removed for trike conversion. I loved them and would do again. Mine have 2500 miles on them and are excellant condition. Limbuck titan-up@hotmail.com
See classifieds this site. Will work with you on price and shipping. Also have OEM set removed at 500 miles.

Yes you are right.
The Milage really comes down after tuning etc.
Something to keep in mind before you Tune the Bike.

In Holland, at the moment, we pay $ 5,55 per Gallon!! ( € 1.85 per liter)
Riding a Touring becomes something for the Rich....
