I just checked the Michigan vanity plate site but could not find how many characters were allowed for motorcycles. Guess I have to go to the DMV in Cadillac Monday.
In Sweden they charge you $1000 for a personalized plate. You have the right to use it for five years. Then you need to pay $600 for the next five years. Lovely. Retard country it is.
In Canberra price ranges from around $500 to over $6,000 for "non-standard" plates. For 3 or 4 numbers the cost is $850. Personalised letters and numbers cost around $2500. Only upside is that it's a one off payment with no time limit. I can think of many better ways to spend that sort of money on my bike.
In Queensland, 2 or 3 letters combined with 2 or 3 numbers will cost you $395 for example my bike plate 23oor. My car has all letters (VASA) cost $2495. And another car has all letters (VALUERS) at a cost of $3500 these are considered prestige plates and I could sell the last plate for more money if I wanted to.
We had these plates cos it is my company name (Vasa Valuers).
Once you buy them they are yours forever - or until the bastards change the ownership rules ( I dont know if this could happen)
