Quoted $30 for a black background , white numbered plate .. perplex or aluminium, either ok with the cops according to sign guy here in town. Be same size as Qld plate

Stupid people with more money than sense in the UK keep prices high on 'cherished' plates. You can't use words, you have to have combinations of the letters and numbers available. E.G. If you want to create BEAST then you need to build it using an existing layout. BEA 5 T is the closest but doesn't look available but BEA 571E (Beastie) is at an exorbitant £7230GBP

I was a bit lucky when a fellow captain who had ordered the ROKET plate in 2004 when he placed an order for a 2005 Rocket but had sold the bike and sold me the plate a year or so ago for a fair price.

Personalised plates are $100 up in the Northern Territory ..every man and his dogs got one. Guess that's why I couldn't be bothered with one ..been there done that .

Custom plates are $10 in Virginia. Yep, 10 bucks. And they sell like crazy. Seems as many cars have them as not. A lot of extra revenue flowing in.
