Corbin Trunk

I saw this at the Corbin booth at Sturgis - nice piece of equipment but at the time they didn't have a seatback mount for it. It was mounted with brackets to the Triumph Luggage Rack. I'll go have a look at their site and see if they've improved the mount. I run a Corbin Dual Tour Heated seat w/Passenger and Rider backrests - perhaps they've made improvements but it was considered generic, not bike-specific, so I doubt it.

for me it has the look of those really really sad whale-tail spoilers that some tasteless c4r owners used in the 90's

but there again, each to thier own m8

Yep, same trunk I saw at Corbin's booth and same issue: either you bolt it through to the Luggage Rack or fabricate a flat mount with 90 degree angled sides (which they show on the website, but do not supply with the trunk) to reach down to either the Sissy Bar/Luggage Rack mounts or to the Saddle Bag mounting bolts. The backrest would probably be too low for comfort if it were mounted on the Luggage Rack, so fabrication is probably the way to go. If someone offers a mount for the R3 I'd consider this trunk - fabricating it locally seems like alot of work for an unknown result. :(

I might try it.....It would be handy to have one that would pop on and off easily for trips. I was hoping someone else already tried to give feed back.   I sent Corbin an e-mail asking about Rocket fittment. I will let all know if they respond.
