Corbin Fairing on R3 GT How do you like it ?

I am considering investing in a Corbin Fairing for my 2023 R3 GT. I have it on my 2006 RIII Standard and really like it. Of course back then it did not cost an arm and leg as it does today. So you guys who have invested in one for your R3 GT, Please share how it went with the purchase, install and riding function on your bike. Thanks, Bill.

Those are my Rivco Floor Boards I borrowed off the RIII. They are back on the RIII now.

So you guys who have invested in one for your R3 GT, Please share how it went with the purchase, install and riding function on your bike.

I did not invest money for it - I had the possibility to try it because of a fellow rider, who bought it did not like it.

In fact: I did not like it either. It looks great on the old model, but the actual one looks quite fuggly with. The fairing circled a long tmie in the german forum until somebody took it... he left the forum soon after the investment...

I saved the money and bought myself a BMW R18B... wasn't much more expensive...

I can’t see it on the new model. Every line is different from the first generation. Hey buy one and put it on and send us a picture.

I put a Corbin Fairing on my first Rocket touring. I didn't find it to be very effective. There was a lot of wind that came up under it while riding. I made a dashboard for it...it help a little at best. I put a taller windshield on it, but not much difference. The mounting looked like it woukd be solid enough, but it really shook up and down over any highway bumps. It developed a crack in the gel coat. I finally gave up a when back to a windshield. I managed to sell it at a loss and it was a real pain to create a box to ship it at over $125. My advice, save yourself the grief and don't buy one.

Here are some pictures of my first Rocket 3 touring with the Corbin fairing installed. I put a tall windscreen on it and I also made some lowers for it as well. There is also a picture of the dashboard piece I made to try and block the wind from coming up underneath. Although it looked nice and the workmanship was good, I can't say it was anymore affective than a good windshield. That's why I sold it.
