As said the early models are a load of ****, I have a 2005 and have had to put air in the tyres on more than one occasion the engine has over 50000 miles trouble free I may add buy the bike and f**k the nay sayers
My 05 has had zip problems. I also do my own wrenching. You can ask the dealer if the 05 in question has had the tranny upgrade. If so, you're gold. If not they may still do the upgrade at little or no cost to you. So it's worth asking. Mine has not had the upgrade and I don't think it needs it. It has 40,000 miles and nary a problem. The tuning thing can be done with a laptop computer and interface cable, so getting performance enhancements is click away. Just buy what you want, if it starts acting up, sell it and buy a new one with a warranty.
I have it on good authority that only someone who would shout
in a rusty pink color is the one he was talking about..
Everyone knows BLACK is faster.
and rusty pink,,, well, that's just as slow as a hardley....
Go for the beautiful BLACK one,
they're awesome machines and they use the high quality first run parts on them.
The lesser quality reds, whether it be clariet, or pinkish red,
they're not held to as high a standard in the QC dept.
