Get some hi-temp BBQ paint, and a Scotchbrite pad. Rub your TORs with the Scotchbrite, then paint the pipes with the paint. A brush will do it as it dries flat.

I did this on my Enfield and it works great.

Sorry any chance of posting a few pictures
It works really well, and if it is scratched or whatever, you just touch it up with a brush and it will blend right in again. You can get the paint from Home Depot, and probably a bunch of other places as well.

Nice job,and good to know my wife melted her boots on my pipes so bad ,I got it off but the pipe is dule and scratched.
And I was thinking what to do perhaps just paint them black.
Seems no one will rechrome a use pipe:(

I had mine ceramic coated for $150 and that included both cans and all the covers. Holding up really well so far

That sounds less work for me and might last longer, do you have any pictures? Could you ceramic coat in a gloss black? Or does it need too be Matt black?
