Anyone drive or ship their bike to Carpenter Racing for the 240- hp kit install?

I have been getting antsy about getting a lighter cruiser but with good power. There really isn't one. Tried a V-Rod and Thunderbird. Neither makes it. Hardley wanted to give me $4500 in trade. My Triumph dealer said I have the most awesome bike on the road and to forget the T-Bird, which is almost as heavy with lots less power.

So, not having to shell out $$$$ for another bike opens the possibility of a major engine mod - 240 hp, 200 ft lbs for under $10K.

If I lived in the States I'd be tempted but as I am not I will settle for what I can get here

Doug there has been people that have shipped their bike to Carpenter I can think the most recent was from Canada, Bob has a shipping company he works with if you decide to go that route. Monday Larry Lewis picked his 07 Tribal Blue Silver Back up from him which turn around time was a month. When he got home a took his little maiden criuse his first statement was this bike has gobbs of power everwhere. The funny thing is I am sure he did not open it up all the way yet as it will shock you. He ended up with a little over 240 hp and 180 ft lbs of torque.

Myself I have shipped the head to him and did all the assembly myself with their guidance when ever I had questions. It is a fairly easy project. You will need Tune boy and PC3 for him to tune it. and your HP will varry depending on what pipes you choose to use. With his he has a pretty constant 240 to 243.8 depending on the type of ECU New verses older. For some reason the older pull about 2 hp more. He used to pull 196 ftlbs of torque but has made some dialing changes to steady the torque out which will help you controll the bike. You will not be snapping the throttle open in first and second gear with all the power the engine produces. It will stand straight up and buck you off if your not carefull.

Also HP is with a motorcylce tire on it not a HP robbing Boat anchor tire on it :D
Don't get me wrong those who decide to run a car tire as their choice its ok. Kind of like the difference between Light beer and regular full flavor fattening beer:D
In fact there are only two types of beer
That you buy and that your given and as far as I can tell they are both pretty darn good!!!!

Don't let living in oz stop you from doing the carpenter mods. i know of one stage 2 carpenter bike in NSW,my stage 2 in Perth, and a hybrid stage 1 here also.Commitment and $$$ is all you need, and the desire as well.

$$$ is the thing holding me back for now, trying to get to the States next May first piority at the moment:D

I have both stage 2 and SuperCharger on my beast and after doing all the wrenching myself I can say in my opinion the Carpenter stuff is easier to install. Nothing wrong with the TTS kit if you can drill and thread the crank right. If not you will be buying another crank shaft or getting yours stubbed by a skilled machinist.

I have 34,000 miles on the TTS kit and 30,000 before I added the Carpenter goodies.

With both the scenory looks different with the TransWarp drive engaged
