Carpenter vs Supercharger vs Turbo

I've read the stock pistons are good to 300 rwhp so figured OEM is fine since I'm well under that and also have no need to change the stock 8.7:1 compression ratio. My only consideration for going forged would maybe be less chance of another busted piston if there's bad detonation again but if the bike is tuned properly that shouldn't be a problem. If I need forged pistons because I'm running a turbo I'd hope somebody there in your shop wouldn't be trying to sell me OEM ones after telling them my situation.
Its your choice of course so they will sell you what you ask for But didn't they mention the forged pistons that are available ?

No, I asked Eric if you guys had any JE 8.7:1 in stock and he said no. Those are custom order. Website says Carpenter uses JE exclusively if I remember correctly.

Art, what's the cost of just the Carpenter cams and valve trane package?
There are several cam choices and they do come with the complete valve trane kit springs titanium retainers, buckets, shims, etc $1900 and if you want more HP forged pistons from 11.8 to 13.5 to1 $ 695

A turbo will give you more low end torque down in the 3000 rpm range. The Carpenter mods have all the power up higher in the rpm range. Supercharger will increase torque as rpm's increase but it's also linear with rpm where a turbo is not. If you want to romp on it from stop light to stop light get a turbo. If you want to rap it out like a sport bike and are more interested in top speed go Carpenter or supercharger. All three require a competent tuner and it's not a bad idea to get some kind of failsafe protection like the AEM wideband failsafe gauge or a knock sensor.
YOU don't need aTurbo or SUPERCHARGER for stop light take offs the CARPENTER KITTS have more lowend than you can use
