Carpenter Racing Exhaust

A lot of people have talked about it, and a few have said they ordered one, but has anyone actually installed this system without the other Carpenter engine mods?

If so, how did you like them? Do they live up to the hype or do they sound like crap on a stock compression bike?

Someone please answer these burning questions

My set is at the polisher'sThere is someone on this site that put a set on his stocker but I can't think of his name. I think it was slick rick or something like that. let me look in my other computer I have some pictures of his bike. They did a dyno test on a stocker and the improvements were quite good.

this is when he first put it on as he bought it in pieces and did his own welding. I do not know if he sent it out to be coated.
This was the first generation. and has been improved on. Bob added spring retainers to the merge collectors so you do not have to weld anything. Yet it come off easily for maintenance work on the bike.
They also offer it in stainless un finished, Polished stainless, Chrome plated, and can get it ceramic coated also, depending on what you want.
For Carpenter information your best bet is to check with IMFASTTOO on the .com site as he is not allowed to post on this site. Which is just fricken stupid but hey at least there is a site you can go to and get information off of.

Mine is being Polished at this time and I can not wait to be able to put it on the beastie

Yes, Art's banishment was, perhaps, the ultimate act of stupidity on the part of the ownership/management of this site. It was, taken all facts into consideration, inappropriate and uncalled for - sort of a howitzer blast to deal with a pesky gnat. He actually had terroristic, that should read "death" threats made against him by a member here and it was IFT, the victim that payed the price after he reported that to the powers that be.

I'm not defending IFT's often irascible behavior when he was posting here, however I've seen equally bad behavior and in some cases even worse behavior from a number of other members here who weren't even given warnings and were allowed to remain online.

Management, if you are reading this, you really ought to reconsider IMFASTTOO's status.

Man up and reinstate the guy! Not only would yopu regain a knowledgable and valuable contributor, but youmore than likely would gain another commercial sponsor in Carpenter Racing, the preeminent engine modification and performance for the Rocket III anywhere on this planet.

For Pete's sake, you even gave me a second, OK, maybe even a third chance to remain a member here. How's about showing some forgiveness or at least equal treatment for IFT, too?

I'd say it's a toss up between Phil's and TRIIICK's.

I for one find it hard to understand why anyone should be banned from this site unless they are are actually physically interfering with members or the site. We have some really idiotic comments on here all the time and I find it a pretty simple matter to disregard them - or play along. I generally have a chuckle to myself that these people have such little self-awareness. Allowing yourself to be goaded into a brawl with someone online makes no sense at all. Bottom line is that all participants in a discussion that gets out of hand should be treated the same.

If IFT has valuable knowledge let him on here for gawd's sake and anyone who can't handle the way he writes should just not read his comments and certainly not respond to them.

Just my 2.07 cents worth.

I've even went around or two with Phil, but we're all men and all bikers, it's to be expected.
but if anyone of them ever called me up and said they needed anything,

No Skip, Art was the one who got threatened and that is what the police thought also. It would seem the Captain that made the threats had a disturbing background record.
Anyway when the cops got involved Arts time here was short.

The thing is people found out the later how disturbed he was. I am glad he did not follow thru with his threats before he resolved his problems. It would have sucked if he took Art or someone else with him.

I often wonder if some of his friends on this site would have caught on that he was having problems, would he still be alive.

But hell its to late now life goes on.
At least we can get Arts help and knowledge on the .com site
