Ordering oem from Hermys or elsewhere will get you nissen pads rear brembo front, I too have used ebc sintered hh they work good as stated above, I’m hard on pads at 1000lbs and don’t care about cost when it comes to pads, I don’t won’t fading and I won’t the best stopping power I can buy

Kevin knows good pads...his weight plus the mass of the bike... that’s almost a ton of rolling mass! Then add his dainty passenger and gear for a weekend trip those pads take a beating...what is the bike rated for?

I am still running the Brembo pads fro t and rear at 11,500 miles. Thought I needed the rear replaced at 8,000 miles and pulled them off to inspect, but totally fine at more than 50% above wear marks. The Brembo pads should last much longer than 5K miles.

EBC, brembo, are fine I've even used Galfer , right out of cycle gear while on the road Might even be a few other manufactures out there. On the road any pad is better then none. Watch the rear you'll need them first. The rear can be changed in less the 5 min. on the side of the road. Usually two rears to one front. I always carry a spare set of each in my air box as ya never know.

I ride solo only, where did you find front brembo pads as I can’t

Exactly what I experience with the rears, I was wondering why as I try to be easy on rear since no abs on the widow maker and I get on the fronts hard

On my second cup noe so another thought is the rear also has to deal with fight the engine turning it. By the I mean your criusing under slight throttle and you apply the brakes quickly. Like normal nothing dangerous but with some or all drive motion on the rear its got to add a little more wear . Sure everyone things they get of the throttle before the brake releases. But I doubt that so more friction wear I suspect.

I've got a Touring, got 30K out of the OEM pads & replaced them with OEM. Had EBC and didn't like the way they sat on the disk. Plus they had about 30% less surface area which I didn't like too much.
