I installed my new 11.5" Progressive 440's today and thought some of you may want to see how my bike looks with them. They allow the rear fender to sit down over the tire more which I think improves the way my bike looks and from the ride my wife and I took this afternoon I'd say my suspension is much more compliant. I also took a short ride by myself to see if my cornering clearance was affected much and I'd say it was not. I rode sport bikes for 35 years prior to switching to cruisers and I still enjoy leaning aggressively while cornering (when I can get away with it). Cornering clearance on the Rocket 3 has been a real surprise to me having grown accustomed to the limited clearance of other metric cruisers I own. My R3 is quickly becoming my favorite ride.
By the way, the stock shocks that came on my 2007 R3 are 12" long, not 12.5".
