Best way to lift R3T?

Oh, I am sooo jealous. My basement door is on the opposite side of the house from the driveway so no good access. I'd have to drive across my neighbor's yard and he wouldn't appreciate if I drove across his grass.

i lift mine under the sump. i did ask at the local dealers , head mechanic said "no problem" thats how they do it so its good enough for me. also altered some farm gate hinges to fit the lugs and act as lifting plates. £5 a pair at the hardware shop.

Has anyone used a Craftsman type jack to lift both wheels at once?

I'm thinking that 2 - 2x4's laying across the jack rails (lining up front to back with the bike) would work if the jack was centered under a reasonable balance point for the bike.

I'd also find a spot on each side and run ratchet straps to ceiling joists in my garage to prevent side to side movement.

Thoughts? Even better, Pics?
