same here never had a problem with the Walmart special some just overthink the battery question, as i said before I change my battery every four years even if the battery feels okay it is still changed.
Rocket Scientist will chime in soon. He has a magic aura about him, that keeps batteries going. I believe he's still running the battery from his 1975 Honda 750 in his Rocket........ ha ha ha.... just sayin. He does have very good luck with battery's though.
I believe he worked for Timex...his motto is... "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking". Someday his longest life battery stories will catch up with him and when he makes his post I'm gonna laugh and laugh and laugh and.....

But what Fred fails to mention is all the times at RAA events when we had about four of us pushing his bike so he could bump it, have you ever tried bumping a 2300cc bike and as it was Freds bike it did not have any gas.

I agree. A high quality battery for less than $100. To me, lithium batteries is are way too expensive and I've never had a cranking issue with this battery. It comes dry and you add the acid so you always know it fresh and hasn't been setting on the shelf for months. I'm a three year battery guy anyway... even with it on my optimate. Three long cold winters and I want a new battery just in case.
