Australia Day .. Qld Style

Had to knock back an invite from the No-Hopers to join them on their annual Australia Day ride. Not knowing which other ' declared associates' might be on the ride. Three and we could be arrested and jailed without the option of bail.
Heard that friends of ours were arrested for being in breach of VLAD legislation. Crow and Ant are both full patch members of LIFE & DEATH MC. The cops arrested them because Crows girlfriend had her PROPERTY OF CROW vest on. That technically made three of them together which is now illegal. Sally , Crows girl is a 40 year old librarian that has worked for the Brisbane City Council for years. No criminal history .. she is now in 23 hour a day solitary confinement until court appearance in a months time.

Find it ironic when Adam Goodes is made Australian of the Year .. mainly on his stance for speaking out about racial issues and stereotyping of marginalised groups in society. How many of his fellow footballers have f#cked up in recent years .. don't see footy teams being declared 'criminal organisations' because of the actions of a few... nor should they be.

Saw that on the news last night, was thinking they were probably known to you. The news showed the cops back at someone's home confiscating a Harley. I was left wondering why. I read a bit on these new laws and it's all a bit over my head but from what I can make of it if you Speak to a patch holder in public you are an associate and will remain one while ever these laws are in. If you speak to 2 patch holders or 1 patch holder and another associate or 2 other associates you can be locked in solitary with no chance of bail till your court hearing. That means that after attending Peck's funeral and talking to a bloke at the wake wich was at a local hotel Julie and I and most my mates are associates. It may be a long shot but 3 of us in public and it's straight to jail do not pass go.
