I was curious if anyone had ever considered or mounted this Top Box to their Rocket III Touring. Very pricey (but stylish) considering you have to buy the lid of your choice, the back pad and the mount separately. It looks like a nice unit. See the related products at the bottom of link as well .

That really ticks me off. Why does Triumph not list parts that will cross over from other bikes. Also it would be nice to have more that that one stupid picture. I like the box. 55 liters and will hold two full face helmets is not easy to find.
Sure looks like it was made by Givi, just looking at the mounting base.
As long as you remove the backrest on yours, the Givi will fit fine, and for a small charge, they make a red snap on cover that matches the bike nicely. Also available with optional rack, Add-more lights, and pillion backrest.
Just need the grab handles we've been discussing going on two years.
Some folks have done aftermarket top boxes at very nice prices and got very decent results. I'd be happy if I could get something as big an electra glide top box, but failing that my great big T bag will do.

I'm a terrible person. If only you lived closer as it's going to require a lot of trial and error with multiple times of putting it on and taking it off to get it personalized and right for your needs. I have been reluctant to take the time to break my bikes backrest and luggage rack down to do it.
I am working on mounting a GL1200 trunk to my scooter. All I have left is to wire it in and finish two parts, then I will show pics. There will be a little fabricating needed this winter, but it isn't 100% necessary.
I lust after your setup -- would you put me in your will ?
I think I asked you about this when I first came to the site -- you and I have the same bike, and I still admire your creativity and luck (at finding the box) and knowledge to be able to paint it.
