...8k kms out of Bridgy ExMax on the rear then got second puncture so with only 1 - 2 mm left until the wear bars I opted for a new tyre. No Bridgestones in stock for a month so have a Cobra to match the front now.

Bit disappointed with Bridgy given she only had about 2k kms left on it which would've got it to 10k all up - got 16k out of the oem Metz...

I got about 8k out of the oem Metzs and 12k from the Bridgy, but had the same prob when I needed to replace the Bridgy, none in stock so also opted for the Avon

What's your opinion of the Avon so far? Mine got me home from the dealer safe n sound. ..about 1.3km...so far so good ha ha ha

Feel your pain. Just put two new Metzs on .what can you do.they have never let me dowm yet.all I could get

McLeods seem unable to get the Bridgestones at the moment. I told the rep they're forcing people to look elsewhere. Part of the problem is the unexpected increase in demand from Rocket owners and that's now beginning to have an impact (they originally only counted on supplying them for C109s). I'll be tucking one away once they become available again.

forced me to look elsewhere too. I ordered 5/1/2015 and they told me a couple of weeks. Then dealer said wouldn't be till 2nd of March! 3 months. I tried to hold on just to see if possible until I was riding on the steel wires on Wednesday so took her in. I'm now stuck with a yamaha vstar loan bike whilst I wait for some avons.

I'm buying Cobras from here on anyway, they ride so ****ed well and look great doing it I see no reason to switch. Screw ultimate longevity, as long as I get this kind of performance out of them. I'll buy new ones a bit more often if that's what it takes. Though I have yet to see what kind of mileage I can get out of mine (on the Touring, ie 180 rear).
