...8k kms out of Bridgy ExMax on the rear then got second puncture so with only 1 - 2 mm left until the wear bars I opted for a new tyre. No Bridgestones in stock for a month so have a Cobra to match the front now.
Bit disappointed with Bridgy given she only had about 2k kms left on it which would've got it to 10k all up - got 16k out of the oem Metz...
That makes no sense to me, Mike, as the Exedra Max has a harder compound. I'm not trying to impugn what you experienced, but it sure sounds like you had a Bridgey Exedra (bias ply) and not the Exedra Max (radial). You wouldn't be the first to have made that error!
So far so good, better than the Metz that's for sure, only done about 2k on them so far, but almost as good as the exedra (my opinion only), will wait and see how it goes mileage wise.........Having said that I think I would still go the Exedra every time

I think you are referring to the original post by mr hunt, he only got 8k from his Bridgy, I got 12k from mine, and yes I know they are 2 very different tyres, and YES I had the Exedra Max radial. FYI the bias dosnt appear to come in a 240/55 anyway
im using avon cobra front and rear now i like them . ive tried metz hated them bridgestone exedra max liked it alot but avon front and rear i like the best
