An observation on oil

The local motorcycle mechanic gets this in for me. Not cheap though. A pack of 16 litres cost $300.

Triumph used to recommend Mobil 1, but changed to Castrol a few years back. I have used both and have not had any issues with either.

It could be my bike is just a spoiled brat and likes the taste of mobile 1 better. When it doesn't get it, it throws a tran-trum MAYBE LEARNED THAT FROM YOU?

Ha ha ha, hey wait a minute..............

Very happy with Motul 7100; have used it for the last 3 years. Got talked into trying Bell Ray next time by the rep. Will see if it makes any difference.

last oil change i had some left over valvoline racing oil about 4 qts the right wt so in it went. i noticed that after that the shift lever was working smother.
i will go to amsoil in about 4000 miles to try it out.
i think that most oils have friction modifiers in them. additives also contain modifiers. sometimes when you have a hard shift you can use a modifier to help it shift a little smother. the only time i seen a major difference is when you put regular trans fluid in a honda you need to hang on when it shifts its going to be like running over 2x4s.
