I checked all of the fuses , found a 20 , 15, & 5 blown. Replaced all , hit the ignition switch and the 15 at #4 slot blew again. Not sure if at if from ignition sw , or the start button. Must have been one hell of a surge.
Check that the fuses are tight in their holders. The one of mine that I modified with a bit of solder was loose and so failed every time I hit the starter button. No problems since the mod.
That 15 amp fuse is for diagnostic connector, indicators, brake lights. Blows as soon as the key is turned on. Looks like it may be tied into the starter relay.

I HATE electrical problems!
Mostly because I know very little about them.
It is sounding to me like you be getting close to the root.
Don't give up - NEVER!
Electrical issues are generally time consuming to track down but not complicated. You just need to check everything. Fuses blowing instantly only happens when there is a short, probably. A multimeter and then measuring methodically from one end to the other can often help.
