A wonderful gift from New Zealand today!

Ok gang. Tuner just called.

Bike is good to go, no more leaking header and custom tune.

Few concerns/questions...

1. I only gained about 11rwhp with the header and mid pipe. I've used the same tuner and dyno for all my mods. This seems awfully low. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Sounds about right
I have the CES headers and crossover pipe tuned by the guru Neville Lush, gained around that amount (jusr abit more from memory)
Can let you know if you really need to just have to hunt out the dyno sheet

2. The heat from the new header system is very high. I've read this system produces less heat. My tuner noticed and even tuned it slightly rich to help. Thoughts?

Thanks.
Can you post the dyno sheet? I'm curious about where you started, since you already had intake, exhaust, and somewhat of a tune. Generally a stock Roadster is putting out around 125 hp / 145 tq.

Any complete after market exhaust system is going to be a lot hotter than stock, stock usually(like the rocket) have great heat shields while most after market do not.
What is the ID of the system? could be part of the small gain, also what air intake are you running remember the exhaust can only put out what the engine can bring in.

Agreeing on the heat, I ended up having to wrap my headers as my leg was burning even when riding. I had placed forward controls which did take my leg closer to the headers but even when stationery at lights my leg was getting burnt. A lot of wrap and it's fine but preference would be no wrap but my header bends prevented me from getting heat shields. Keen to know how these ones go as I'm in NZ and may need to replace mine.
