A good front tire ????

I have 7,000km on the Dunlop Elite 3 and is still only half worn .... can't believe how good it feels (read feedback and steering response) in all conditions including frost on the road up at Mt Hotham last week, it is even wearing more even than any other tyre I have had on the front absolutely NO cupping

Since the touring has a 16" front wheel, does anyone have suggestions for a tire company that actually makes a 140/75/R16 or 150/80/R16? I can't seem to find the Dunlop Elite 3 or the Michelin Commander ii in those dimensions. Has anyone had success with the Michelin in a 130/90/R16?

I can get a Michelin Commander ii in either a 150/80/R16 or a 130/90/R16. I can also get a Dunlop Elite 3 in a 150/80/R16. Amazon has them for $118 and $140, respectively.

I'd go with the Dunlop D251 in a 150/80R16

I'm running the Avon Cobra with my Bridgestone Run-Flat. The Avon has 16k miles on it and the Car Tire is needing replaced.

"I have had the same tyre for about 3,500 mile now and, IMHO, it is the best tyre I have had in every way. Those tyres include the OEM Metz, Avons, Shinkos, and Dunlop 404. It still looks new, even after those miles. I currently have the Riken on the other end."

I run the Avon Azaros on both ends of my Thunderbird and love them. Had a Michelin Commander before on the R3 but it didn't last more than 4,500 miles. So I tried the Azaro 140/80R17 rear tire on my R3 front as well, with another new Excedra Max rear. I am impressed. The Rocket runs true, steers dead neutral and stops impressively with it. Time will tell on the mileage. Thumbs up!
