2nd opinion on EB harness install

While working the cooling fan issue, I am installing the EB headlight kit.

I have removed the old wires from headlight and installed the new wires. The EB instruction say to connect the three wires to an h4 connector. Have I messed up by connecting these wires directly to the bulbs? I haven’t connected to harness or power yet.

The H4 connector prevents wires from touching and causing shorts and also keeps the ends securely on the bulb.
And you can't connect the wires onto the bulb the wrong way (assuming the wires are inserted into the connector correctly).
Use the H4 connector.

I pulled my head out of my butt and finished the install. Seem much brighter!

It should help, just don't put it back without an LED headlamp on.
Never helped an Ostrich either, but I suppose they find it easier to get it there!
