207hp with Cams and Pistons

I was hoping some one would speak up, I was thinking the diameter of opening of headers?
If is the case is the opening on headers for Jardines good?

My understanding is that is the header size. Seems anything smaller along the way would be an "obstruction" to a greater or lesser degree. I'm no expert, so here is the list of options I was given. I went with 2 1/4" with heat shields and their muffler......

CES TRIUMPH ROCKET III

CES PERFORMANCE HEADERS 2.1/4”

(headers designed for our CES muffler size upgrade)

CES PERFORMANCE HEADERS 1.3/4”

(headers sizing to maintain your original standard muffler )

*ALL HEADERS COME CERAMIC COATED (THERMAL COATING)

STANDARD CHOICE POLISHED SILVER COATING, INSIDE/OUT.

HEADERS PRICE - CUSTOMISED IN BLACK “RACE” COATING

SS HEAT SHIELDS X 2 SMALL ITEMS

(highway peg users) OPTIONAL EXTRA

POLISHED STAINLESS ITEMS (UNCOATED) (AS A PAIR)

COATED SILVER OR BLACK THERMAL COATING (AS A PAIR)

HEAT SHIELDS CUSTOM FABRICATED INCLUDES MOUNTING BOSSES + WELDING

HEADERS TO BE PREPPED PRIOR TO ANY COATING.

SHIELDS ORDER MUST BE PROCESSED SAME TIME WITH ANY HEADERS / SYSTEM ORDER

**New 2016** 1 x Collector Heat shield (larger) Coated

CES ROCKET III MUFFLERS

MUFFLER SECTION – STANDARD 2.1/4” (INTERNAL SIZING)

UPGRADE TO BLACK “RACE” CERAMIC COATING

CUSTOMISED black COATING SERVICE BY DEMAND ONLY

ALLOW SMALL LEAD TIME – 7 TO 14 WORK DAYS

Are you stating here that CES is now making a 2¼'' at the header and in stainless system?????
If true, I be stoked!

Any pictures of these headers and exhaust?
And they come three in to two exhaust as well.
Dow they sound as good or better then Jardines?

Sliding friction for a motor on side is in the .35g to .45g range.
Depending on your skill level, braking friction for a motor is in the .65g to .85g range.

Therefor; let's say you are doing 35 mph when that cage turns left in front of you.
You are an intermediate rider and can emergency brake at .75g. Your motor will come to a stop in a minimum of 54 feet.
You are an inexperienced rider and lay the bike down. Your motor will come to a stop in a minimum of 102 feet!
Tis actually much more distance if you account for the 2 seconds or so you will first travel while you lay it down.

If at all possible, NEVER give up control of your motor, EVER!
Once you and your motor are down and sliding on the pavement, how far above the pavement is your head?
Now figure how far above the pavement that cage bumper is?

Great motor that Z1R 1000! Coffin tank?
I've had two KZ900s and a 1000LTD.
Thanks mate, that is very interesting and will share with a few mates. Yes it was a coffin tank, the first release, light blue in colour. My very first road bike and my Mum copped a lot of **** from my Dad for buying that bike for me. Didn't kill myself though, just had a whole lot of fun. My mates had a Suzuki GS1000 and a Yamaha XS1100. Geez we had a good time riding those bikes

Amen! I've many great memories of many rides around the country I did through the 70s! So many, they kinda run together in my old head.
