2022 Rocket 3 fairing

I finally got the windshield set back much closer to me where I wanted it all along to match what I did to the ZH2 and it blocks the wind on my helmet very effectively. It's set where I can just look over it at a normal riding position but can tuck behind it if I want. Love it! Ended up attaching it to the handle bars with the clamps I got with the highway pegs but didn't use.

If you like the fairing buy it. I think you might get some replies from members who have purchased this. I want to see the pictures. Even though the bike is called a GT I never thought it was set up for real distance touring. I’ve got a big Indian Roadmaster for that duty. My Rockets are day bikes. Good hunting.

Are you my good twin? You'd have to be the good one, Evil's taken. Got a '21 GT and a 2017 Roadmaster I took to Sturgis last year. But also curious about the Corbin fairing. Don't mind spending the money but would hate to get it and find out it sucks.

Only way to know is to dive in. I bet it will not suck for function if you like the look enough.

I have the Corbin fairing. It is expensive but it does a great job with the buffeting.

@PlatinumRocket I am considering getting this Corbin fairing for my GT. I have the original on my RIII. Love it. Can you please share several more pictures of your bike as this newer design looks a little different than the older design? Also how is it mounted ?

@Idaho Red Rocket 3 it looks like you're searching for some wind relief. As somebody that's spent a lot of time and money on windshields, i'd like to suggest try to make some fork mounted lowers. the windshield is only half the problem with these bikes. you can try an experiment with some cheap polycarbonate from home Depot to see if it works for you. If it does you can get some abrasion resistant stuff from Tap plastics. I used 3/16" AR polycarbonate. Its a fairly cheap experiment. https://www.ebay.com/itm/157895297456 I used these brackets at the bottom and let the top rest on the turn signal stalks. They are 5"X10" pieces. If you don't like the looks ,just keep them for long highway trips?

Really worth trying to cob up something for the forks. On the first ride of the year I decided to take them off. just to see if I really needed them. Since I was so happy with the windshield finally being how I wanted it. And the bike was borderline un ridable (to me). They make a big difference.I moved the signals above the top triples, to get an uninterrupted flat piece. But you could do something else if you wanted. even let the signals show through the plastic I guess. or some small aftermarket LEDs.....As far as the highway pegs, I had some 1/4" x 1 1/4" flat steel. I edge welded a long piece to a shorter piece so it looked like a hockey stick. Drilled holes in the shorter piece, and sandwiched it behind the forward controls. Pegs are just Amazon pegs. I used two different styles they have. highway pegs and mid position foot rests. I have them flat horizontal because I like to lay the back of my foot on the highway pegs to get my legs straight out. if you like to put your foot on them, like regular pegs, you'd just angle them towards you. Not a complicated project, but it does take some welding......and drilling.

Rick you are very creative. I like this too. My son is a machinist. I could have him cut something like this on their waterjet. Thanks for sharing.
