Spacers we’re just slightly larger nuts over the screws to sit in the existing slot where the screw head would be in the second shield.

Have you noticed a significant reduction in heat on the top shields?

Mine arrived in 2 days.

Just did a rough test, a hour long trip in traffic to get home this arvo. Was able to touch the outer shield with no issues.

I installed some longer screws to hold the shields on recently, and added some fiber plumbing washers between the plate and head to further
keep the engine heat from traveling up to the shields. The header wrap helped a lot, but this might give additional insulation.

Bolts finally arrived put the carbon shields on I reckon they look good definitely cuts down heat
