2012 R3R-Engine Knocking/Ping around 2000 RPM-FIXED

Well folks, After I inspected the coil connectors, tightened the header nuts, etc, I put the fuel tank back on and tightened everything. Guess what- I am noticing the PING more. All the way from 2000-2800 RPM. It has gone worse. I am out of options what to do next.

Can you put it on TuneECU and activate its datalogger while running in that rev range? Maybe someone can advise with performance data available.

Well Well..... Finally resolved the issue. We didn't think about the culprit at all. It saved me the hassle of starting to replace spark plugs and potentially replacing the ignition coils etc. As the PING range increased yesterday, when I put everything back together, I started thinking what is the common factor in all of this troubleshooting. Is there a part that I take off everytime and then put it back. I narrowed it down to the Bear Claw. On my test ride last night, I pressed my leg hard onto the bearclaw and guess what the ping went down to half. I then removed the bear claw and took a test ride. NO PING at all:cool:. I then carefully inspected the mounting points for the bear claw. The mounting point in the front is bolted to the frame with a bolt. It was loose. I tightened it and also added a rubber washer while installing the bearclaw bolts. No more PING at any RPM. I am so relieved and I am enjoying the bike a lot more. A big positive side effect of this event- I know a lot more about TPS/ Idle Stepper motor and throttle bodies than before.BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR HELPING ME OUT.
