2005 rocket3 with2,700mls

G'day and welcome. Front tyre pressure can go to 40psi without problems. In fact, if you have a Metz up front then it is better at higher pressures.

I was watching a young fellow from austraila on youtube a while back and he just bought his i believe it was a 2013 R3 and he was
more than giddy over getting this bike it was the first year they were sold in your country.

We are all excited when we get our first Rocket:thumbsup:, however the rocket was released here in August 2004;).

Cheers

welcome from arizona
u might want to keep an eye on those tires they are 10 years old. i would not want to do a 100 mph run on them.

Welcome aboard from the UK. I'm sure you'll love her.
As they say, mucho respect initially as the power will rip your arms out their sockets if you're not ready for it!

How about a picture or two?

Welcome from Mississippi! Sounds like you found a great low mileage bike. Any idea when it was ridden last (before you)? There may be several things, besides the tires that need checked/lubed. As said take your time getting to know her, can't stress enough slow speed practice (she's a heavy fat bottomed girl ;) ), and a hard twist of the throttle can be quite shocking; very responsive. That said though she's a very easy and fun ride

Another Aussie welcome.
Those tyres will most likely be hard and possibly flat spotted ( very dangerous) deteriorating rubber would most likely be something to keep your eye out for as we had a member here buy a similar bike and had to replace ALL the fuel lines etc as the rubber clogged the injection system.
