Finally got my Lonelec cable today , will be syncing the intakes and installing the Ramair as well , hoping someone has a tune for a R3R standard exhaust with Ramair , i'll have to study on how to use tune ecu and turn those pesky secondaries off

Open TuneECU Save your current map to your computer before making any adjustments (just in case you need to go back).
On the left side about halfway down you'll see 2nd Throttle. Click it, then you can make the adjustment to 100%.
Click the ECU tab. Then click download.
Disconnect, and go test ride.

Is it wise to do the 12 minute tune after making changes like this, or does that blow out your changes? Or am I completely talking out my ass and making up stuff I thought I've read?

The general consensus is if you are going to install a better breathing intake to get your moneys worth in gains you need to install a better breathing exhaust. TORs or something after market. Also The Dobeck Performance AFR Plus does one heck of a job for little money. With stock intake/exhaust and tune, I gained about 20 HP and 10 TQ with just the Dobeck. I've tweaked her a little more since then and gained a few ponies more.

My plan of attack was always to install a different induction to make it easier to sync the throttle bodies , if i gain a bit more HP from it i'll take that as a bonus . once i get coin together i'll look at upgrading the exhaust , what i end up with will be more in line with looks and sound for me more than performance , another little gain in hp will do it for me. If i can get away with it ( and afford it ) i'd like to keep the original mufflers although opened up professionally and attached to a nice shiny set of CES headers. The way i ride and what i expect from my bike isnt motivated by chasing every available bit of HP , durabillity and reliabillity is important to me.

I may be wrong but I believe those pesky secondaries are disabled or non existent on 2013 and 14 models.

@Wrecka. That's a good opportunity to get familiar with your shiny new cable and TuneECU. Download your existing Map and check the secondaries. If they are restricted on your bike the TuneECU screen will look something like the first pic below. If they are somewhat unrestricted in your model then you will see many more cells with 100%.

Cheers mate , will DL and save original map for sure and have a look at it, Hanso has been a champ and sent me a tweaked map that i will compare to the original one before i go up loading it .
Would the correct way to go about this be to do the Ramair install , then up the tune then run a 12 min tune ? Im guessing i should also reset the TPS ?
