Received my cable today and promptly installed TuneEcu on my bike...took for a quick spin, ran great. Still have some decel pop, but getting bike Dyno'd next week and I assume that will resolve the popping.
Very easy to install once you read through the TuneEcu guides and obtain a better...
I finally got around to installing PCIII-USB (with O2 Optimizer) on my R3 this weekend...install went well and bike runs great (used map 510-003) with TORS and CAT delete (no intake mod).
My TuneECU cable should come in today or tomorrow, at which time I will load TuneECU into the bike (map...
I am currently on a mini-vacation with the family, and yesterday I ran into a guy at our hotel who was on an 07 R3 Classic. We began discussing mods and such, and I mentioned that I was considering either TuneEcu or a PCIII (leaning heavily toward the TuneECU)...and he stated he was running BOTH...

Hey gang,
I can't get my 2008 Rocket III Touring to run right since installing Jardines. I have a single K&N under the seat and I'm not inclined to attempt the triple K&N mod, so please don't suggest that!
I'm getting lots of popping on deceleration while downshifting, especially while...
Is the tune listed on the TuneEcu for stock Roadster exactly the same as the tune that comes on the bike from the factory or is it a modified tune to improve the running of a stock motor.
Okay.. So I have my bike from the dealer. They loaded the TORs tune which sucked with the Jardines and was so lean I probably shouldn't have ridden it home.
I apparently don't know what I am doing when I load a tune, because the bike is now not idling again and running like crap and it...
First of all, TuneECU is awesome. If you're the least bit computer and mechanically inclined, you should have TuneECU.
My bike has been surging at cruise speeds for a while, and I was finally tired of it. My dealer is only an hour away, but I have had little luck with them troubleshooting...

Help, the tuneECU user's guide says to start with key on - kill switch on - engine off. However, it does not state when it is safe to start the engine, when performing the DIAGNOSTIC and TEST functions.
I know if you happen to start a car while DTC's are being read you can cause major problems.
I have order the USB cable and am prepping to do the Triple K&N mod and remove secondaries. I have an 05 R3 with TORs/Cat Eliminator. I can't seem to find any map that fits this configuration...is there one?
