Hey guys. I'm a new R3R owner and new to the forum. I'm also loving the forum with all its discussions and what they have to offer. With that said, I'd like to ask for some opinions on roadster exhausts.

Stock wheels from a 2005 Classic R3 $300 plus shipping. Two sets of stock exhaust (one set has slash ends and the other has straight ends) $100 each plus shipping.
I've read a post here and there about ceramic coating exhaust. I just ordered a set of TORS and am considering getting everything ( all exhaust parts) ceramic coated mat black. Does anyone have any experience with this, words of wisdom. Are you happy you got it done?

A mate posted this on Facebook. I don't like it but I thought I would post the pic's probably works Ok. But I think it would scrape. I'd have a hole worn in it in no time. Apparently it was made by Exhaust Innovations. Steel st Capalaba. (07)33903200. I think it would be loud not much of a muffler.
I just received an e-mail from Supertrapp / Kerker/ Jardine which included the Jardines, now available, from that company. They now offer chrome, blacked out and down slash and slash cut mufflers for the R3 with the full system (heat shields as well).

I have ordered the Carpenter Racing Exhaust, So I will be selling my Jardine Exhaust, its in great shape. I do have them welded at crossover and where header goes into the collector too! kind of a pain to put on and take off, but no problem for two people and they don't leak at all! I will take...
OK having just purchased one of the CES headers as seen on this here forum, I now have for sale my one off custom exhaust as previously shown on here.
It is a one off made by Sam of Predator fame and comprises 1.75" pipes black ceramic coated internally baffled with twin wall chromex ceramic...
Has anyone had a problem with the factory cans having what looks like discoloration? My right side can near the passenger footpegs and on the side has a round spot about 2". Looks like heat color and is not something melted to it.
Another problem is the passenger peg is too close to the pipe...

I fitted the new can from Bruce Aussie today looks good and sounds good , just a little louder than the TORS . I will get out for a ride tomorrow and see what its like on the road .

Started the R3 when I got home from work cause its sat for the last 10 days, so I thought id start her up and let it warm a little and shoot a little charge in the battery. After 5 mins of idle this is what caught my eye. Should I be concerned?
An idea came to me, basically, why couldn't you take any set of slip-ons (say vance & hines touring pipes) and retrofit them to to the rocket? Of course the mounting points will be off, but mounting brackets aren't impossible to fabricate.
thoughts? anyone done or tried something similar...
