Taking Zeus to the Vet in the AM

Zeus is now back home, stoned out of his mind but otherwise OK. They successfully removed all of the tumor. Also, at no additional cost while he was zonked out, the hospital also removed a growth from one of his paws. And the whole procedure was almost 100 bucks less then quoted. So hes resting now. He should be getting around in a day or two once the meds wear off. Thank you all for the well wishes again.

Sounds like in a few days he'll be back to his old self and taking up way too much room on your couch!

An update: It was a rough night. Zeus was unable to lay down for hours because of his Wobblers syndrome. I was finally able to get him to take his meds around 2 AM. It was maybe 6 AM before he settled down. I was up all night with him. Took off work today. The Vet said it was normal. 24 - 48 hour recuperation period. I just hate to see him in such pain.
