Back from a rough winter, bits finally repaired thanks to you all (PIC HEAVY)

Buckle up Kiddos: it's Story F$%#in' Time! Back in August I was having issues with my speedometer and fuel gauge. Electrical gremlins suck to chase down. So the bike sat for a bit whilst I tried my best to find time, energy, and a weather window to work on Trinity. The wife and I took a little...

Adaptive headlight on Trinity, great for Yosemite back roads!

Sorry for the late response. No adaptive ring necessary. I haven't heard about the Suzuki regulator thing. I haven't had any issues though.

Welcome from Yosemite National Park! I fit a carpenter sidewinder onto my Touring. Required some creativity to get it to fit.

    Speedo/Fuel Needle Failure 2013 Touring

A few days later: I have updates and "progress" ? Lifted the tank to check the connection from the Fuel Level Sender and noticed there was electrical tape around where the sender unit plugs into the main harness.: I pull the take off and unplug the Level Sender completely and try the key...

    Speedo/Fuel Needle Failure 2013 Touring

The gas light does turn on, so it's not the bulb. Gonna try to trace the wires from under the tank and see if anything is weird.

    Speedo/Fuel Needle Failure 2013 Touring

Today I gathered another piece of data. All the lights on the cluster are working EXCEPT the low fuel indicator light. Got very lucky with the timing on WHEN I ran out of gas, but hey. More data is better, right? Don't know if anything in the fuel sensor could mess with the speedo in any way...

    Speedo/Fuel Needle Failure 2013 Touring

I took off the gauge cluster and checked the wires on the back, everything looked clean. I'm going back to thinking it's that road speed sensor. Just want other opinions before I drop a chunk of money on a sensor.

    Speedo/Fuel Needle Failure 2013 Touring

Clutch thing: Bike off, put it in neutral, did not squeeze clutch, and tried to start it. Nothing happened, so I'm guessing the clutch switch is good. ABS model: No ABS

    Speedo/Fuel Needle Failure 2013 Touring

Recently installed a Lithium Battery after taking a 9 month hiatus and did a few laps of the Valley. ~20 miles. Everything was going good until both the speedo and fuel gauge just died mid ride. Bike rode the same all the way home. I did take note that after the speedo died, the odometer and...

Cleaned my oil-sump filters, worried about what I found.

A while back on my 2013 R3T I started getting a low oil pressure light at low RPMs. Rev the engine just a little - light goes off, rides just fine. Back down to idle - light comes on, seems to idle just fine. Though google-fu and this forum it looked like an oil pressure sensor gone funny. So I...

Adaptive headlight on Trinity, great for Yosemite back roads!

Been a while since I posted an update. Winter has been a bit funny. Bought a jeep wrangler and am going to swap my morimoto super 7 into the wrangler and finally got an jw speaker adaptive 2. Plug and play. Matches the other two now too. Cant wait for the pass to open up so I can give it a...
