Just let one of my best buds who is an HD guy take the beast for a test run. Told him to throttle it up and pass me when we got onto the highway so I could hear what the Reband sounded like. He is inside on the laptop shopping for one on ebay right now.
 
When I bought my Bonnie in 2004 my dealer pointed to a picture on the wall and said I should wait for that (R3) to arrive. I said I didn't care about power, just nostalgia. Besides, the thing looked like something from Roger Rabbit. 7 months later I test drove the R3 demo, ordered one on the spot, and unloaded the Bonnie within 2 weeks.

I took the R3 for a test drive and now I own it. I had just installed cams in my Roadglide. The roadglide is a nice bike but if you want to go fast and tour the R3 is where it's at.

That is exactly the one that I showed him that he should buy. Explained the whole package with the rumblers, triple filters etc. Even told him that with those numbers that it probably had a Wayne Tripp tune in her. @GPMAZ I am guessing that is your bike then? Been out of the loop here recently.
 

Yup, its mine. And you're right about the Wayne Tripp tune. Its only $400 below my reserve right now with about an hour to go.
 
Bought a new 2012 Diavel. I really liked the bike and said that this would be a keeper until I test rode a Rocket. Bye Bye Ducati and hello Rocket. Since the middle of last year, it has had a Carpenter kit (210) put on and now I'll be getting the sidewinder exhaust from Carpenter to finish it off for right now. I have the TORS on the bike now but Bob said that with the sidewinders I should see a 30 hp increase from what I have right now.
