Has anyone ever tried Zamp helmets? They make one ( Zamp fl 20 ) in a modular design that also has an internal dark shield that goes up and down with a flip of a switch on the side. I can't find any reviews on this product, and wondered if any of you-all have heard of or tried it? Rademis

I've often wondered if helmets are like mouthwash, that is, a couple manufacturers making them and a whole bunch of distributors selling them (with their own brand names affixed to the cookie cutter helmets).
I checked these out at our new Triumph/BMW dealer a couple of weeks ago. I've only tried a couple of them on though, don't own one yet, and haven't had it out in the wind. They do seem pretty comfortable with a nice, snug fit for me anyways, and to be well constructed. Better than the POS helmets I currently own.. lol
Have you looked at ARAI? They are a little pricey but they are the most comfortable I have tried. If anyone out there knows of anything better let me know, I will be in the market for a new helmet soon.
I have several helmets my oldest is my favorite. A Shoei full face. can't beat it for all day comfort, air circulation, and sound absorbtion. After wearing one everything else sounds like a old wash bucket. but there pricey take 6 large when ya go ta by one now. for a quick zip to the store I still like the 1/2 cap. Another good tip for the older helmet, a spritx of the fabreez overnight and its just like new.
