Yet more weight removed

66 lb savings on exhaust? Doesn't sound right.

It is, Roadster pipes are stupid heavy I’ll weight when I get home but I know it’s in that ballpark

It's an o-ring installed during assembly so I can monitor travel instead of using a zip tie Good eye though! Took a bit of a spirited ride after that pic, O-ring didn't indicate bottoming so I'm a happy camper. 100mm travel used, so most of the stroke with room to get a bit frisky still

Pegs are great themselves, phenomenal grip, actually a touch too good. The only weird thing is adjusting to the new distance to the shift peg, will take some retraining of my left foot.

Weighed one - 26lb, so 52lb for the mufflers, 9 for headers, crossbox, and stock overbuilt hangers, 61ish total. Pretty shocking right?m

Sort of frustrates me a bit that they made no attempt whatsoever at saving any weight anywhere on the rocket, none.

Since im thinking weight again...

Fixed and reinstalled my carbon front fender .

Removed the top steering nut above the triple tree and replaced with a smexy Alu one from probolt that’s been sitting around for a year .

Going to put on my rear axle Ti nut now.

570 would be amazing!! I think the lowest an R3 can be brought down to without replacing major components is probably around 620 race weight, and that’d require some permanent changes/cutting extra bits off.
have you looked at the all aluminium swingarm from australia ....
