Winter arrives in the Essex UK
Nightmare day! I was out driving in it this morning ....smashes and shut roads everywhere
 
Six inches of snow down south and have been without power for 12 hours now. Wood burners running flat out and now cooking dinner on the gas bbq. House has been really quiet as the kids wouldn’t go home without the WiFi working.
 
No heating since last Thursday, had to stock up with oil filled heaters till engineer gets here tommorow (if he makes it thro snow!)
Decided to slip out to local and let the wife watch come dancing .a British dancing contest on Tv and if you have to ask why its called come dancing watch it and you will see why
 
All ours has pretty well melted....hope ya'lls electricity is back up soonest!
 
Got our first dose of the white death yesterday - about 4" of snow, that, given my advancing seniority, I have developed a true love/hate relationship with.
