Those gears can go on either cam, they are marked in and ex.

Are you sure it's on #1 TDC? Or do those marks only come up every other time.

This detent spring was changed by owner and it is on so that the tip of spring digs into shaft. Im gonna flip this spring and show how it fits freely then on shaft. Note gap and point of spring digging into that boss
