Anyone gave any thought on why the hell a 750+ pound bike could be sold without a reverse gear? I was parking the bike beside my house so I could clean the garage, and as I pulled it up to the wall, the front tire went into a hole the pesky dog had dug weeks ago. I couldn't go forward, and I sure as hell couldn't get the front end to come up out of the 8 inch pot hole by myself. Lucky for me it had just rained too which made for instant mud pies around my feet in the wet grass. Friend came to the rescue....it almost went over while awkwardly pulling on the rear rack.

Yeah, I parked in a lot with pea gravel as a bed and didn't think about it. I have very strong legs so moving the bike would not be a problem, so I thought!
The Rocket got the attention it deserved and when I got ready to leave I had an audience watching. Couldn't get any traction and to top it off I was backing the bike up hill slightly. Almost got ugly! It was at that time I was thinking how nice a reverse gear would be!

The first lesson I learned with my new Rocket was don't park it with the front wheel against the kerb downhill!

With my gimp leg from my crash in Sept. 06, I am very cautious as to how and where I park the Rock, even then there are times where a reverse would come in handy.
