Who needs 2300cc to travel... ?

I just stumbled across this link on our local Craig's List and was also going to post it. Its a great story and makes some good reading. The kid just takes off and goes and doesn't listen to all of his nay sayers. Ahhhh, to be young again :D.

I would like to make that kind of trip on ANY bike! Responsibilities of work, a mortgage, and fatherhood have pushed such a trip to some time in the future.

By the way, the California Motorcycle Roads - Pashnit Motorcycle Tours Maps, Passionate Scenic Rides Photos site is an unbelievable resource for anyone wanting to ride in California. It seems like the majority of people on r3owners.net are in the southern, eastern, or northeastern US, but if any of you are ever planning on coming out this way, you should really check out Pashnit.

:):):)

And what is keeping the left coasters from forming up a lot more grief for the rest of the country, a huge drip of home prices? just jokin:D Seriously though: The silicon valley micro-chip boom is gone oversease. There's no wonder we're in the fix we are. Shipping jobs overseas has been our downfall. Greed has been the downfall.

Greed and power; it seems as though mankind will never learn to separate ourselves from lower animals.

I don't know if you should call that a riding experience. Something along the

line of religious self flagalation seems closer to the point.
