What tyres are you running?

Truth

NO SCOTT not so many people just a few but we like to keep it honest and have somone independent do it on their DYNO we already know the truth

Everyone should chill out, adjust their manties and be patient. I will get my bike down to Art for a dyno pull when it is convenient for us both to get it done. I think he's about an hour and a half away, so he's not exactly right around the corner and we both have more pressing things to do, no doubt.

I really don't understand why this conversation always gets people's dander up , regardless of in which motorcycle forum it occurs. Both sides make valid points and at the end of the day, like ck, I and others have stated, it is a matter of individual choice. I, too, would be saddened to see this relatively flameproof site become sullied by taking a conversation like this into the gutter... that can only serve to weaken what is a great and congenial site!

Poor, laraza!!! He made an innocent query and it ends up nearly causing WW III.

BTW, IFT, you and your buddy at Triumph are 100% wrong about invalidating the warranty. The burden of proof lies entirely with Triumph. If they ever attempted to assert that claim, under this Federal Act, Link Removed, they would not and cannot prevail.

Link Removed, Yuk Phil I'd rather read the Rocket manual and look for typo's and my grammar which at best sucks. Hell I am a Highschool drop out

Of course your right about one thing its not worth draging a site in the gutter!!!!!

FWIW, our stock Metz weighs 20.07 lbs and my Toyo T1R CT tips the scales at 24.7 lbs.

Avon Warranty

Hey Phil,
Found this in the Avon warranty. Wonder why? I'd like to see them prove that!

Motorcycle tyres which have been subject to use on rolling roads must no longer be used for subsequent, normal service. Use of Avon motorcycle tyres on a rolling road (Dyno) will invalidate the tyre warranty. All tests on rolling roads must be carried out with test tyres, special tyres reserved for maintenance purposes, or tyres which are worn out or downgraded.

The facts

YO GUYS its a matter of fact this is not about opinion hey if we can keep this discussion civil we might be able to get to actually do a test and compile some FACTS then we can move on to something else
