In particular - do the tins from the Rocket pre 2009 bolt straight on to the Roadster, and does the classic seat with rider backrest fit?

I'm guessing that Hagon shocks, crash bars, rear rack and backrest, flyscreen, touring screen, footboards, fit no problems
Thanks
Mike

Floor boards will fit but you have to buy the rails and the brake line to move the master cylinder. The tins should bolt righ on and the seat also but yo have to get the right mounting bracket for the seat.

hmmm .... presumably Triumph sell just the brackets so owners can use their gel seats etc that they may have bought ?

I am not sure as I bought my classic seat with the back rest used and the mounts come with it I think when you buy the seat from Triumph it come with it or it would say you need it like the windshields say you need the front end fixing kit (and they give the part number) in the add. If not I do have an extra one but sense your on the other side of the pond the shipping and VAT raping you will receive from customs might be more then buying one from Triumph.

I think we might be talking at cross purposes. I have 5 different seats for the Rocket3 (don't ask), and they all came with brackets, that needed to be fitted to the bike. All these 5 brackets are the same though, so once I've fitted one, any of the dual seats fit straight on it. What I'm not sure of is whether it's a slightly different bracket that is needed for the Roadster.

I had the classic dual tour seat with backrest on my 05 and it bolts on to the Roadster, I used it for France & Spain and the seat was better than the Roadster original.

Front mudguard is different !!

Front footrests fix to the rails using a smaller diameter pin so aftermarket pegs made for the old Rocket need a 10mm dia sleeve with an 8mm dia hole. I fitted Kuryakin footpegs to my Roadster and had to bush the pins oversize to fit the pegs. Rear footpegs are same as the old ones.

Crash bars fit.

Rack and Backrest fit and all the screens.

Hagons fit but are not a marked improvement over the updated Roadster ones. I put Harley type Black alloy Fournales on.

Mike I bet the front mud guard is different due to the ABS brakes. It will look better with a M109R fender anyway

Jeezus, Warp. Japanese fender on a Triumph? Isn't that a little like using walnut wood on your boat - it brings immediate bad luck?
