you could be right bt I would not know. The only Time I was ever pulled over it was by 5 squad cars and color of the bike was not their concern

One made some kind of comment as to wondering why when he was at 135 mph I was pulling away from him. Naturally I was very nice and explained to a couple of the officers that wre more interested in the bike what type of testing I was doing. They seemed pre-occupied with the supercharger and intercooler at the time, Thank god!!!

Long story short the fifth officer that had been radioed to set up a speed trap ony caught me doing 70 in a 55 as I was done testing and just criusing along smoking a cigarrett. I thought I was in Tn. which was 70 mph zone but I was 4 miles short of the state line. OOOPS Paid the ticket and off I went

Got the DA to reduce it to a seatbelt violation. $50.00

I was set up by the Uncle (Sheriff Deputy) of some young punk that decided to speed up as I was passing. He lost but the uncle waited for me a few days later.
I almost ran. Glad I didnt, they already knew who I was and where I live.
Bad part of being the only person in the area with a Rocket.

well at first it started out as 1 squad car I went by at over 100 mph. I was doing air fuel test so I did not see him I just kept increasing the rpm by a 100 or so and let the weggo record. anyway he and the others as they joined him kept falling further behind. I am not sur ehow fast I was going as there was no speedo left. I just did not know they were after me and well the party got bigger as more southern boys joined in.

I think they were going to be ruff on me until they figured out I was LEO. Then it was just question after question from the youngsters while the old guy was assuring me that if I hit a deer at them speeds there would be nothing left for them to clean up.

Anyway I agreed with the older feller and appoligized for being a bother as I knew he had more important things to attend to. It was a 100 + dollar lesson if memory serves me right. Then off to Fontana **** I went.

Try that again but this time have it on video. We would really enjoy that.
