Morning Gents,

Need some advice on where to shop/purchase Viking Bags and Easy Brackets for my Rocket X.

I have read the threads in relation to the Viking Bags and have decided to run with them.

Also have done the search/research thing online and have found that they are cheaper in the states, but postage is the killer. Maybe the best option is to purchase via local options.

Tossing up between the shock cutout or the standard option in the bags. They both have the same capacity and my guess is the cutout option mounts closer to the bike.

Has anyone in Aussie been thru this process and can offer advice and options to purchase.

TIA Men

Think most blokes have the Triumph brand or locally sourced saddlebags. Maybe try North County Yamaha , they seem to carry just about everything .. and send stuff to Australia via cheapest option.

Their web page gives a very good description of cost and post , their products arnt shipped from Aus there's no outlets here just an Aus website that ships anything you buy from the states.
I know this because I bought a backrest bag from them

I use the River Road XLarge Slant bags on two motors.
Both are mounted with Easy Brackets, which set them far enough off the fender rail that a shock cut outs in the bags are unnecessary.
Have also researched those Viking bags and they look very good!
Shall likely try a set of them next time 'round.

Thanks @1olbull for the advice. Will go the Viking without the cutout, bit more room also.

Tried them mate, didn't have what I was after. Have the original Triumph bags (If they don't sell with my 2010 R3R) that I could fit easy brackets to. Was looking for lockable bags thou
