Valve shims?

I am about to check mine. Is there any other make or model that uses the identical sizes? I'm about 350 miles to a dealer.

Most of Triumph range uses bucket shim type, but you will have to micrometer then either get thicker if you want to reduce clearance or thinner if you need more . 8)
 
I understand that, but I am just looking for an alternative source as my closest dealer doesn't have any. I was wondering if another brand used the same diameter and thickness range.

A dealer that dont have a shim set you gotta be f#kin joking, due to individual circumfrence and shim thickness you have only one option, genuine Triumph parts.......... not good.
 
Nobody stocks anything any more, I love when they say I can order one. Yup, so can I, and they'll deliver it to my house, why would I want to come back here a second time?
 
My dealer didn't have brake shoes, though, come on.
