Well I got 11,000 miles on the rear while using almost exclusively sport mode with TC engaged to save rubber. Just changed the front at 17,500 miles. But I think the second rear is going to be very lucky to get 9,000 miles for whatever reason. All Cobre Chromes. Anyone doing much better or worse?

Almost 8k miles on the R3R now, front tire is down to 2mm or a little less ( it's due for changing), rear tire is around 4mm I think. All fairly moderate driving so I am very satisfied with those figures.

Tire psi? Fast starts from dead stops? Curious.
I am careful about keeping pressures optimum so I expect it’s my riding style. Fast starts from a stop, hammer on out of corners, hard on brakes going in, wide open quick shifts quite often and general hard riding the mountain twisties. I’m not really complaining, more like a badge of super hooning.:sneaky:

The older Rocket gets its fair share of wheelies and power shifts with wheel spin.

I wouldn't think hard twisties would do it. ( reduced chicken strips) Hard braking and fast starts from stops makes sense.
I do fast acceleration through the gears but not from dead stop, and I think I will make it to 12k.
👍ride safe.

I think road surfaces vary across the globe and that might be a factor. I don’t mind buying tires if I’m having fun wearing them out.
