I can't speak for triumph, but as far as Harley goes, there are lot of destination specific parts. When the bikes went down the assembly line, it was called out as domestic, h-d international, great Britain, Canada, Japan, Australia, or Asia pacific. Lot of parts were the same, but due to different emissions and government regulations some parts were different. For example we had specific mufflers for Japan, Australia, or domestic bikes.
