Two new dealers for WA

Yeah, I know it's doable but, the cost of it all is usually laughable...:p

Most of the Hogs around here (and there's lots of 'em) that are festooned with $10-20,000+ of Screaming Eagle crap are still Gurgling Turkey Turdmobiles compared to most any R3.

Yep,the look on their faces when a near stock R3 smokes their $30K bike + $20K screamin eagle accessories is a sight to behold
I had one who just could not believe his Roadking was not the fastest thing on 2 wheels.

Dont worry, there is no shortage of hogs around here either.Oz being the highest penetration of HD sales outside the US.
"Penetration" is a kind of suitable word for HD sales :D

Heard they will be nearly $30,000 AUD. A mate of mine looked pretty seriously into becoming a Norton dealer ... huge outlay demanded by Norton and a requirement of significant inventory of spares needed to be stocked... good thing I guess. In the end he just couldn't afford it. He's a Norton man from way back .. that makes his living building killer go-fast custom Harleys. Know he was disappointed , he really wanted the Norton Dealership.

You could probably put a heap of aftermarket parts on a new Bonneville and have something as good for less.
The new Nortons look pretty ,but the technology is way outdated now.
If you want a roundabout racer ,the japs make plenty of good ones for sub $20k.
Not to mention Triumphs own sports bikes which continually get praise heaped on them.

I suspect Norton want "prestigous"dealers only to market their bikes.
A hell of a lot of money flows through Fraser dealerships;)
I was in there one day and some guy had just a dropped a $100k on 2 bikes with every accessory fitted.
